Cookie Policy

Last updated: [DATE]

The short version

This site sets no advertising and no analytics cookies when you arrive. Nothing that identifies you is stored unless you actively choose to load our application booking calendar or play our explainer video. There is no tracking pixel running in the background.

1. What cookies and local storage are

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Local storage works similarly but persists until it is explicitly cleared. Both let a site remember something between page views — a language preference, a login, or in our case your cookie choice.

2. What this site stores by default

NameTypePurposeDurationConsent needed
bne_consent_v1 Local storage Remembers whether you allowed embedded third-party content, so you aren't asked on every visit. Until you clear your browser storage No — strictly necessary to honour your own choice

That is the complete list of what we store before you interact with anything.

3. What loads only if you allow it

Two features are hosted by third parties. Both stay blocked until you act.

3.1 The booking calendar — Calendly

Our booking calendar is provided by Calendly LLC (USA). It sits behind a consent gate. When you choose to load it, Calendly receives your IP address and sets its own cookies to operate the scheduler and prevent abuse. Any details you enter when booking (name, email, and anything you add) are processed by Calendly on our behalf.

3.2 The explainer video — Vimeo

The video is hosted by Vimeo and loads only when you press play. Until then no request is made to Vimeo and it learns nothing about your visit. We embed the player with Vimeo's dnt=1 (do-not-track) parameter, which instructs the player not to set tracking cookies and not to send session analytics.

The player runs in do-not-track mode and we replace the end screen with our own, so no video recommendations are shown when playback finishes.

4. What we deliberately do not use

5. Changing your choice

Select “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page to reopen the banner and change your decision at any time. You can also clear your browser's cookies and site data, which resets everything.

Most browsers let you block cookies entirely through their settings. Note that blocking all cookies and storage may stop parts of this or other websites from working.

6. Questions
